Fetch Pet Insurance FAQs
Is pet insurance worth it?
Pet insurance is a responsible investment for pet parents - it helps make unexpected vet bills more affordable and can help keep your pet healthy. At Fetch, we cover all dogs and cats 6weeks and older. We don’t cover pre-existing conditions, so to make sure your pet gets as much pet insurance coverage as possible, it's best to sign up before they need it.
Where can I find more information about the cost of pet insurance in my state?
For more information about how much pet insurance generally costs in your state, you can visit our locations page. To get a personalized price for your pet, you can also get a free pet insurance quote.
What does a “waiting period” mean when signing up for pet insurance?
A waiting period is a set amount of time before your pet's veterinarian expenses are eligible for coverage by pet insurance. With Fetch, the waiting period for accidents and illnesses is up to 15 days. There is no waiting period for Fetch Wellness (if added). Wellness can be used on or after the effective date of your pet’s policy.
Does Fetch offer a free pet insurance trial?
We don’t offer a free trial, but you can cancel risk-free for up to 30 days after enrolling in a dog insurance or cat insurance plan.
